META-STACK X THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF SCOTLAND (2018-2020) IS A COMMISSIONED PROJECT FEATURING FORENSIC-GRADE POINT-CLOUD MODELS RETRIEVED THROUGH OVER A HUNDRED IN-SITU LIGHT DETECTION & RANGING SURVEYS AT THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF SCOTLAND AT GEORGE IV BRIDGE, EDINBURGH. THE POINT CLOUD MODEL OPENS OUT THE BUILDING’S OFTEN FORECLOSED AREAS IN A METAVERSE ENVIRONMENT TO PERMIT IN-SILICO EXPLORATIONS. THE OUTCOMES INCLUDE A MACHINE LEARNING ANIMATED NAVIGATION, USING THE RUNWAY-ML GEN-1 MODEL. TRAINED UPON POINT CLOUD ANIMATED SHORTS AND PRE AND POST-PROCESSING DEPTH DATA WITH SOUND INPUT, THE ALGORITHM RENDERS THE RADIOMETRIC CHANNELS OF A POINT CLOUD AS HI-RES OPTICAL FEEDBACK. THE EMERGENT AESTHETIC IS INFORMATION-BASED, REPRESENTING A THERMODYNAMIC SPACE, SATURATING TENSIONS BETWEEN ENTROPIES AND NEGENTROPIES.
