NEW ORLEANS X HURRICANE KATRINA 2016-2020 IS A DESIGN RESEARCH PROJECT USING LOCAL POINT CLOUD DATA GATHERED THROUGH FIELD RESEARCH & REMOTE SENSING & SEMI-SUPERVISED MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHMS TO DETECT & EXTRAPOLATE EXTREME SPATIAL SCENARIOS OF PARTICULATE MATTER. THE PROJECT GENERATES ULTRA-PRECISE, MULTI-SCALE ARCHITECTURAL MODELS OF POTENTIAL FUTURE CYCLONIC LANDSCAPES IN NEW ORLEANS, USING DEEP LEARNING METHODS FOR PATTERN DETECTION & WORST-CASE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION. IT TRANSFORMS MULTI-SCALE PARTICLES, FROM MICRO-POLLUTANTS TO LANDSCAPE SCALE CONCENTRATIONS, INTO A GASEOUS ARCHITECTURE, INDEXING THE EX-CATASTROPHIC SPACE OF FUTURE-PERFECT ANTHROPOGENIC CYCLONES.
